The Full Story

The Festival of Arts In Gresham is a beloved annual tradition that transforms downtown into a lively celebration of creativity. Every July, more than 150 juried artists join musicians, food vendors, and families for a day filled with art, culture, and community pride. The Arts Plaza becomes a haven of interactive arts where community members can participate, watch, and learn. Three stages spread across 16 city blocks feature musicians from fan favorites to world music, creating a vibrant soundtrack for the day. More than just an event, the festival is where Gresham’s love for art and community truly shines.

Big festivals succeed because the little things don’t get missed. We keep track of every moving part — permits, vendors, safety, logistics — so you can focus on the celebration while we make sure nothing slips through the cracks.

THIS EVENT REQUIRED

  • Navigating city permitting
    (special event, OLCC, health, fire, etc.)

  • Coordinating road closures and detours with city and transit agencies

  • Managing vendor and artist relations from applications to booth placement

  • Working directly with the Fire Marshal and public safety to ensure compliance

  • Overseeing stage and entertainment booking across multiple locations

  • Coordinating food & beverage vendors with health and safety requirements

  • Handling logistics planning
    (site maps, equipment rentals, ADA access)

  • Managing security, EMS, and emergency planning for public safety

  • Building community and sponsor partnerships to grow impact

  • Delivering a smooth event experience from load-in to clean-up
